Founder story
Cavi was founded by Heidi and Sam Drauschak, a husband-and-wife team based in Richmond, Virginia.
The company grew out of a practical observation: most organizations are full of smart people working hard inside unclear systems.
Teams often know the work is harder than it should be, but the organization does not have a reliable way to see where execution is breaking down, what should be fixed first, or how to sustain improvement after a project ends.
Cavi was built to close that gap.
We combine process expertise, operational judgment, project discipline, and executive communication to help organizations understand the work behind the change.
Together, our founders bring 24 years of combined experience in process, operations, and consulting work, along with a J.D. and MBA from the University of Richmond. Credentials held across the team include:

Our client work runs on methods we built ourselves and teach through Cavi Training and Certification: the Cavi Process Improvement Method, which runs every engagement as three parallel workstreams covering process, project, and change management, and the Cavi Process Mapping Language, a three-shape notation that operators, engineers, IT, and executives can all read.
